Learn the use of the hammer and anvil while forging an iron age belt buckle, based on a historical hook-buckle found in Bornholm, which dates to the Scandinavian Iron Age.

Often this type of belt is falsely attributed to the Viking Age, but the Vikings didn't use belt hooks at all. These hook-shaped buckles, however, are typically used on the belts of the Pre-Roman Iron Age and found in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway.

The same design and process can also be used to create a belt hook instead, for hanging a pouch or other personal possessions.
