Charming Gifts from Pocket Change – Charm bracelet workshop

This class is designed to be attended by either one student OR by a family. Cost is per BRACELET so if you'd like to bring your kids along to each make a charm for the charm bracelet, that is allowed.

Continuing our series on coin based jewelry, tonight we will be creating charm bracelets using coins. This is a great introduction to many jewelry tools using materials that are readily available.

We will learn how to anneal coin metals with a torch, planish the surfaces, press and dap the coins into new shapes, stamp and decorate your charms, drill holes for jump rings, and finally how to assemble and size your bracelets.

We will, as always be supplying all the materials and coins, but students are encouraged to bring in found coins or foreign coins or game tokens or anything else that they would like to experiment with.

Bracelet chain is made from stainless steel.
