class will teach you about basic hand tools, their usage and safety,
and jewelry making techniques in order to create your very own
individualized pendants for yourself or for great gifts to friends
will learn: letter stamping, decorative wire stamping, hammer
texturing, drilling holes and basic finishing techniques (filing,
sanding and polishing). During the class, you will have time to
practice and make 2 pendants.

Fusing (Keum Boo) on Silver
Oct. 19th, 1-3pm
workshop will teach you the techniques of sawing, drilling holes,
disc cutting, filing, sanding and polishing metal. After preparing
your metal, you will be shown the Korean technique called Keum-Boo
where you will learn how to fuse
Gold onto a Fine Silver jewelry shape you created.

will need to purchase Fine Silver sheet and 24K Gold Foilfrom the

Gravity Casted Medallion
Oct. 26th, 1-3pm
workshop will teach you the process of Cuttlefish Bone Casting
(Gravity Casting) – from designing, carving the waste mold, to
pouring metal. Basic techniques of sawing, drilling holes, filing,
sanding and polishing metal will be taught enabling you to finish the
cast piece as awearable piece of jewelry.
