Learn To Sew.... ANYthing!
Have a sewing machine but don’t know how to use it?
Want to finish a project you are stuck on?
Would you like to fit and alter your own clothes?
Or just want to learn to sew?
Ford (local costume designer & sewing instructor) is offering
beginner and advanced sewing classes at HammerSpace, as well as pattern
making
and draping. She likes to teach using sustainable materials like 2nd
hand
clothing and fabrics, so the cost is minimal and you learn how to
recycle
your clothing into something new! Come to class and let her know what
your goals are, and she will help you work on achieving them. She will
have a variety of
projects for you to choose from, or you can bring your own.
