We have less than two weeks until the much-anticipated 2013 NAKA-KON Anime Convention in Overland Park, Kansas! And because of this, HammerSpace has been bustling with costume-building activity!
It has been a real pleasure to get so many 'sneak previews' of our Cosplay-lovin' members' creations as they are being worked on in the HammerSpace workshop. Everything from 3D printed animatroics and custom-shaped armor pieces, to insect gloves and hand-sculpted & casted silicone head pieces.
If you have the know how, HammerSpace in KCMO has the workshop you need, filled with all the tools & equipment required to make the Cosplay creation of your dreams! Or just about anything else 'of your dreams'. Monthly memberships start at just $40/month. Day-passes only $25 (2-days, 2-people, 1-project). No deposit required! Free, family-friendly Open House & workshop tours every Thursday night, 6-9pm for non-members.

We are getting ready to add more classes in animatronics, special effects, molding & casting, 3D printing, and the always popular metal-smithing.
