Railroad Spike Knife Forging Class:
Every Sunday through the end of December. This is a 2-part class. Part One will be held on Sunday, November 23rd, 12pm-4pm. Part 2 will be held the following Sunday at the same time. In this 2-part class you will learn how to forge a knife blank out of a railroad spike and begin the stock reduction that will make it into a finished knife. Learn how to use a coal forge and blacksmith tools to shape steel. Finishing and heat treating will be covered in Part 2.
